The 2005 Civil War on the Border event at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm was the first officially sanctioned event for the Olathe Kansas Historical Site. With over 300 reenactors participating, this years event promised to be bigger and better than all previous Civil War on the Border events at this site. Warm temperatures and clear and sunny skies attracted thousands of spectators over the two day weekend reenactment and by most accounts the event proved to be a huge success!
